Southern California artist Katrin Wiese was inspired to do political paintings when George W. Bush began to convince the country to go to war with Iraq. With ribald humor and harrowing insight this collection depicts her perception of the Bush Administrations adventures with the trampling of common sense, perverse conceit and greed being recurrent themes. Wiese’s masterful technique is classic caricature, with visually intricate and conceptually rich style.
